Development journalist
BBC Sport Online

"The online news industry has undergone seismic shifts over the last couple of years, both editorially and technologically. I'm looking forward to seeing how bold and brilliant journalists and companies entering these awards have adapted to and exploited these changes."

Iain Hepburn is an award-winning journalist and digital editor who, with unerring timing, entered the online news industry just as the dotcom bubble burst, and has been unable to escape it since. He's worked for a range of organisations from Future Publishing to Trinity Mirror, covering areas as diverse as cult TV and Middle Eastern football. He's currently helping BBC Sport find new ways to tell big sports stories to its audience.
